The Radio Flyer Routine

I'm back with another family-friendly workout routine! All you really need is a little red wagon and some weights, which kids are perfect for! Plus I hope it helps with your corona virus quarantine, because I know my kids are really confused about why we can't go to do our normal park activities and such, but we still have lots of energy we need to burn. If you’re working from home, this might be an ideal way to attend a phone meeting. Pop in your ear buds and throw some marshmallows and fruit snacks in the wagon, and then go. By the time your kids run out of snacks they will probably just be stunned into silence by your athleticism and the scenery. Let me know how it goes.

This workout is comprised of entertaining your children, getting them some fresh, cold air (repeatedly proven to make them sleepy), and getting yourself out to enjoy some challenging activity without worrying about who is sticking their hands in the toilet or letting the chickens of their coop yet again.🤦‍♀️ Just me?

Anyway, here is the workout:

Radio Flyer Routine

Do every movement as long as you feel comfortable. Get a little burn and keep good form! Go at a speed you feel comfortable and without jostling your kids too much, and stay away from going down hills. I hope your neighbors have a sense of humor!

  2. Forward Jogging

  3. Side lunge

  4. Walking lunge

  5. Reverse walking lunge

  6. Glute kickers

  7. Jogging side kicks
