Pregnancy is a wonderful 40ish weeks according to beautiful celebrities and British royalty. And don’t get me wrong, I am beyond thankful for my little snuggle buddies and they were worth every unpleasant side effect. But for me, pregnancy is just a time for survival. I may have been glowing up until the mid-20ish weeks, but the discomfort of the later weeks blurred the more enjoyable parts in my memory. I understand that some women love pregnancy, and I will be eternally jealous of them. But whether you enjoy the changes or not, there are certain aspects of growing a human that are uncomfortable. So here is my list of essentials that help to not only make you more comfortable, but also can help prevent lasting side effects of the physical changes babies bring.

Fortunately, there are a lot of options on the market to help reduce any discomforts pregnancy brings. But this can be a disadvantage because there are so many things to decide on. Pregnant moms, you are at the peak of the phrase ‘healthy mom, healthy baby’ so be sure to take care of yourselves. And don’t forget, pregnancy is really a very temporary change. With that in mind, do what you can to protect your body as it changes because while pregnancy isn’t forever, varicose veins are.
